Salvation

We all need a Savior in order to end up in heaven. Church is not our savior, joining a cause is not our savior, being devoted to a religious group or sect will not save, having a zeal for God can not save and even believing in God will not save. We are not our own savior with all our good behavior or sacrifices. The only Savior to heaven and be with God for all mankind is through the actual person- the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (John 6:44-46. Acts 4:12)

Why do we need a Savior? Because there is no one on planet earth that is righteous (in right standing with) in the sight of God. The book of Romans 3:10-12 in the Bible states, “There is none righteous, not even one; There is none who understands, There is none who seeks for God: All have turned aside, together they have become useless; There is none who does good, there is not even one”. We may appear good in the sight of man, but at the end of day the sight of God is our only judge. The book of Psalms 143:2 “For in Your sight, oh God, no man living is righteous”. We may be a well meaning good person, but in His Presence as we stand before Him in Judgement it all burns up. There is nothing we can do to earn or beg in order to be at peace with God. Our hope of salvation is not able to rest on our good behavior or our desire for heaven when we face death.

Sin simply means that our lifestyle and holy living is not just like Gods lifestyle and holy living. The consequence of us missing that mark is death and hell for all eternity. If we choose to trust our good works in order to be with Him in heaven for all eternity, then our good behavior lifestyle and holy living would have to match Gods. And if it does not match, then the consequence of it is death and hell when we die to face Him. Our righteousness would have to be just as Gods in order to miss hell. We have no hope of resting on one ounce of good works or begging or sacrificial living or even having a strong desire to please God.
God shows us this by giving His Laws of lifestyle in the Old Testament of the Bible what we would need to fulfill in order not to be separated for all eternity. Also, God gave us a conscience that speaks to us what we need to do in order to be righteous to make it to heaven and we are unable to fulfill that also. The Law and conscience are what God looks like in all behavior and no one is capable in fulfilling or obey these. Because of it, we have a guilty conscience knowing we are not right with God in His sight and we are in fear because of facing the consequence which is hell.

We need Gods mercy. And that mercy has to be demonstrated by God reaching out to mankind. Demonstrated because God is a Just God, someone has to pay the penalty of our sin. Since mankind cannot pay it (redeem) to remove the quilt of sin and separation thru good works or sacrificial living, God had to be the only One to reach out to us. God could easily say “forgiven, enter into heaven”, but He wont because those words alone will not satisfy the consequences of what we all deserve for He is a Just God. There needs to be justice made to the quilt of sin and to remove our error and guilty conscience through a satisfactory payment (redemption). Gods laws shows us we cannot be our own savior of good works or behavior. We may have a desire to obey the laws of God, but desiring to obey is not obeying all the laws. Since its not in a man to obey the laws of God and impossible to fulfill what God requires to be at peace with Him, every person on earth and that has ever lived are imprisoned in disobedience to His laws. And because of that, We need a Savior.
That savior is God Himself, the Lord Jesus Christ. The law raised the awareness we need a Savior as well as our guilty conscience and fear of death. God in His love. There is only one set free card from all our sins through the payment of His perfect Son, Jesus the Christ and free us of coming of Gods Judgement. Gods mercy which is found through His Son and Savior Jesus Christ.
God Saved us by fulfilling those requirements in sending a Savior (Christ Messiah) His Son Jesus the Christ on our behalf. Because we cannot establish our own righteousness, we have no choice but go to the righteousness of God which Jesus accomplished for our freedom of a guilty conscience.

John 3:17, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be save through Him”.

Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world whom God sent at the right time. He became sin for us in order we that might become the righteousness (right standing with) of God by dying on the cross which is now our eternal payment (redemption).
God made the satisfactory payment of forgiveness by canceling out and removing the debt and punishment and penalty of our sin by Jesus Christ through death on the cross. Now we can be Justified (Just as if we’ve never sinned) by His blood from the Judgement of separation from God.
And 3 days after Jesus Christ satisfied the demand of paying our guilt, is now raised from the dead by Gods power and seated Him at the Presence of His Right Hand declaring those who believe “Holy and blameless and un-accused”.

Entering heaven is a Gift. But we must receive that Gift by lifting our hands to a Savior, the Son of God, Jesus Christ by calling on His Name to save. Surrender the dependency of our every good work or sacrifice and abandon ourselves completely to what God did on our behalf to satisfy the payment of our sin. God did it for you. God became your right standing with Him. God fulfilled everything that is needed for you and I to be at peace with Him for all time through the Savior Jesus Christ who became our peace offering. Jesus is alive and forever lives to be your righteousness (right standing with God) right now.
So, the decision is yours right now. You have a choice to completely abandon yourself to the accomplished work of Jesus Christ the Savior and be at peace with God, or you have to completely reject Jesus Christ as Savior and stand already judged for hell. The Book of Acts 4:12, “There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be save’.
You’re not joining a church, or joining a cause, or devoting yourself to a religious group or sect, but joining yourself to the living and actual person Son of God the Savior, Jesus Christ.
John 10:9 “I am the door; if ANYONE enters through me, HE will be saved”. Jesus said, “I am the way, I am the Truth, I am the Life. No man can come to God the Father through Me”
If You are ready for salvation experience by surrendering your heart and trust to Jesus Christ, then simply lift your hands and pray and call on His Name. Your part is simply believe and receive. Pray out loud…”Jesus, I lift my hands and surrender by humbling myself and ask to be my Lord and Savior. I believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead after you were crucified for my sins. I need you as my Savior and forgive me of all my sins. By faith in Your word, I receive salvation now. Thank you for saving me and calling me”.
Because you prayed to Jesus with all your heart, and believe Him, you’ve just entered heaven. Now you are acceptable in Gods sight because you took the leap to believe Jesus Christ. You became a brand new person. Right now thank Him.
